The original plans for CHARM had all of us, including the care home research teams, presenting a workshop at the UK Dementia Congress in 2020. However (as with everything) the pandemic got in the way! Not only had we needed to slow down the project due to the pressures our care homes were under, but also the Congress was only taking place online!
We are nothing if not a resourceful team though and so instead we produced a CHARM film (ably directed and edited by Faith Frost) – explaining the rhyme and reason of the project and featuring many of the care home stars! You can watch it here.
